I want a website, but I only have a rough idea, what do I do?
All websites start off as 'rough ideas' so it is important that you get quality advice from experienced web designers to turn your rough thoughts into a solid foundation for a website to be built upon. We offer quality and friendly advice at no obligation, please get in touch to discuss your ideas.
How much will a website cost?
That's a really difficult question, because it varies tremendously depending on numerous factors such as pages, dynamic content, complexity of the site just to name a few. Please check out the solutions page to see what we can offer and request a quote. Rentedsmile aim to give the customer the highest quality service, irrelevant of your budget.
How long will it take to make?
Again, this also varies depending on the complexity of the website. Some websites could take a few weeks, whilst others may take a few months. It's worth noting that the time it takes to build a site is sometimes dependant on the response time from our clients. For example, before the site goes live we often insist that we show you everything on the website (where applicable) to make sure you are happy with it. If changes do need to be made, a quick response time from the client will mean a quicker turn around.
Do you provide the hosting?
We can offer hosting, and is can be included in the maintenance fee if chosen. If the client requires more control over the hosting, we can suggest a range of decent and affordable hosting.
How do I get a domain name?
Unlike some companies, we insist that the client purchases and registers the domain name in their own name. This is because it is your domain name, and you should have complete control over it at all times. The purchase procedure is very easy and painless, and we can guide you through it if so required.
Do you offer any review and maintenance services after the website is built?
Yes. This varies from site to site, but often includes any changes that need to be made and contact review of the website.
I already have an old website, can you redesign it?
Yes, but only if you are not already tied into a contact with any previous designers. It is often the case that re-designs can faster and cheaper than new websites as the website 'flow' and content are already there.
I have a good website design, but I need someone to do all the back-end stuff?
